Black Lives Matter
Since July 1981, 23rd and Cherry Fellowship Hall has been a place of refuge and unity for Seattle’s Black recovering community. Established at a time when very few such organizations existed, Cherry has stood the test of change and gentrification. Over the years, Cherry has grown in diversity providing quality services in a clean and sober environment for all people . And while the Hall remains committed to positive and healthy lifestyle for everyone, we also remain true to our roots in advocacy around issues impacting the Black community. We stand with the Black Lives Matter Movement and support peaceful protest against systemic and intentional racism, police brutality, and discrimination. BLACK LIVES MATTER @ 23RD AND CHERRY!!
